Sara Daley

Sara has extensive experience in research, data analysis and multilingual market intelligence within the mergers and acquisitions sector, supporting the identification and evaluation of acquisition opportunities across international markets.

At Origin IQ, Sara leads research projects within clients’ highly specific search criteria. Working closely with the senior engagement team, she is responsible for identifying and analysing potential acquisition targets, compiling detailed market intelligence and ensuring each mandate is supported by a highly accurate and well-qualified pipeline of opportunities aligned with client criteria.

Sara specialises in analysing financial and transactional data across international markets, drawing on multilingual research capabilities to identify businesses that may not be visible through conventional UK-based data sources. Her work underpins Origin IQ’s ability to source and qualify off-market acquisition opportunities for private equity firms, corporates and growth-focused businesses.

Prior to joining Origin IQ, Sara worked as a Data Specialist at Zephus Ltd, producing research-led reports on mergers and acquisitions across Europe, alongside financial data analysis and report production for international clients.

Sara holds a Master’s degree in Translation from the University of Salford and a BA in French Studies from the University of Manchester, bringing strong linguistic and analytical capabilities to complex cross-border research assignments.

Outside of work, Sara has a keen interest in cinema and enjoys spending time watching films.
