Lydia Guett

Lydia has a strong background across private equity investing and acquisitions, with extensive experience working directly with business owners, investors and management teams to deliver growth through M&A. 

At Origin IQ, Lydia works closely with private equity houses, PE-backed portfolio companies and corporates to originate and develop off-market acquisition opportunities. She specialises in engaging directly with founders and senior executives, quickly building trusted relationships, understanding strategic objectives and translating acquisition criteria into high-quality, well-qualified deal pipelines.  

Her multilingual capabilities;  German, Spanish and French, support cross-border engagement and international deal origination activity. 

Lydia combines hands-on acquisition experience with institutional investment expertise. Earlier in her career, she was a Director at Cambridge Associates, advising institutional investors including endowments, pension funds and family offices on private equity and venture capital investments. In this role, she led due diligence processes, presented to investment committees and supported governance across complex global portfolios.

 Her experience across both institutional investing and direct deal-making enables her to operate confidently at board and investment committee level, while maintaining a highly commercial and pragmatic approach to acquisition origination.
