Gabriel Kempin

Gabriel is a research analyst with experience in market research, data analysis and supporting the development of targeted acquisition pipelines for strategic buyers.

At Origin IQ, Gabriel works across a range of research-led acquisition projects, helping to identify and assess potential target businesses in line with client acquisition criteria. He supports the delivery of structured market insights through detailed company research, data gathering and analysis, ensuring outputs are clear, organised and commercially relevant. His role centres on turning acquisition briefs into practical research outputs that support off-market outreach and deal origination activity.

Prior to joining Origin IQ, Gabriel developed experience working with market and financial data, sourcing opportunities, and carrying out early-stage commercial assessments. This included analysing business performance, identifying key characteristics of attractive targets and supporting informed decision-making through well-structured insights. He has also worked in fast-paced, customer-facing environments, strengthening his attention to detail, organisation and communication skills.

Gabriel holds an MSc in Financial Technology with Distinction and a BA in Business Economics from the University of Liverpool, combining strong analytical capability with a practical, commercially focused approach.

Outside of work, Gabriel enjoys supporting Leicester City(when they win!), playing football, sprinting and the gym.
