Carina Walsh

Carina has over 15 years’ experience across strategy, business development and mid-market M&A, supporting global leadership teams to deliver ambitious growth strategies.

As Operations Director at Origin IQ, Carina plays a central role in the execution of high-volume, high-quality deal origination mandates. Working closely with SLTs in private equity houses, PE-backed portfolio companies and corporates, she ensures strategic objectives are translated into market engagement and deal pipeline delivery.

Carina combines operational leadership with entrepreneurial and corporate experience. She previously founded and scaled a multi-site retail and events business and has held senior commercial roles within asset management and real estate, latterly as Commercial Director of a business managing over £0.5bn of assets, where she was part of the team that launched a listed fund.

Carina serves on the Board of Governors of UHI Argyll College and is Chair of the Audit Committee, providing oversight across financial stewardship, risk management and institutional strategy within a publicly funded and government-accountable body.

When she’s not working, you’ll find Carina at the stables with her grey mare, Misty.
